2. Next add the oil, maple syrup, water and pumpkin and stir until combined. The batter should be almost completely lump free.

3. Heat a nonstick skillet waffle maker. Pour the batter into the waffle maker and close. Cook according to your waffle maker. However, it usually takes about 5 minutes or once the steam has just about finished leaving the waffle maker. Once finished cooking, transfer to a plate to serve immediately.

Tips for making the best Paleo waffles

  • If your batter isn’t lump free, then there will be lumps in your waffle.
  • These waffles do well as leftovers and in the freezer.
  • Cooking times may vary due to different types of waffle makers. It usually takes about 5 minutes or once the steam has just about finished leaving the waffle maker.
  • The combination of cream of tartar and baking soda in our Beth Blends Grain Free Flour Blend helps the scones rise. Therefore, no baking powder is necessary.

Is pancake batter and waffle batter the same thing?

Why do my waffles stick to the waffle iron?

There may be a few reasons why your waffles are sticking to the pan. If you didn’t preheat your pan, the waffles may stick. Or your waffles may not be fully cooked which leads them to fall apart when you open the waffle maker.

I am so sorry for my questions earlier this week. Duh— the waffles recipe was on the bag. Last week I just guessed at the flour ratio but this week, I saw the recipe and they turned out amazing, more amazing than last week!! Thank you Beth.

I made these last weekend without the pumpkin spice and they were amazing. The batch made 10 waffles that I put in fridge for later. I’ll do this recipe tomorrow. Thx
