Jean, from the blog whatgreatgrandmaate.com, shared this super impressive Gluten Free Banana Upside Down Cake but it was made with almond flour. We don't eat almonds here at Beth Blends so we used our Nut/Cassava Free Grain Free Flour Blend as a substitute to make this recipe almond free. And it's even possible to make the recipe completely nut free. See below for instructions.

To make this recipe almond free, omit the almond flour, tapioca starch, baking soda and baking powder from the recipe. Replace it with 2 1/2 cups of Beth Blends Nut/Cassava Free Grain Free Flour Blend and follow the instructions as is.

To make the recipe totally nut free, use ghee instead of coconut oil. And then use maple sugar instead of coconut sugar.

If you'd like to see how we did it, check out our video over at instagram.

Go check out the the recipe post for a complete list of ingredients and the instructions. Then make sure to add our 2 lb bag of Beth Blends Nut/Cassava Free Grain Free Flour Blend to your cart.
